Organic Food Benefits - You Are What You Eat!


With regards to eating right the idea; "you are what you eat" leads to some interesting questions. Organic food benefits from the idea, conventional farming methods leave us curious about this question. In organic agriculture food is grown, and raised without the toxic chemicals such as insecticides, herbicides, and pesticides used in standard farming practices. This particular prohibition of nasty, poisonous chemicals guarantees that these do not end up in the floor water, soil, or even air. More importantly, this ensures you don't consume these types of chemicals.





While the direct health effects of most of the chemicals used in standard farming are unfamiliar, this is more an instance of not enough study information, than anything else. Whilst I can not tell you that these chemicals will harm you there has been current research to suggest that it probably isn't a good idea to overly expose yourself to these chemicals.





These types of recent studies have shown that the chemicals used in conventional farming practices can be a possible link to breast cancer amongst female plantation workers, and Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in small children. As the research is as yet inconclusive, there is a correlation leading researchers to believe these chemicals may indeed be at problem. Research continues, meanwhile those with a vested interest in mass farming, and company agriculture continue to tout that there the research is actually lacking for the benefits of organic foods.









They're partially right. The study into the benefits of organics haven't been concluded. However as more of the chemicals used and related to standard farming practices tend to be studied and linked to environmental and health problems they begin to sound a lot more like the climate change deniers and fewer like unbiased resources. I will freely admit that I am a biased source, as well. I believe we each must pay back it to ourselves to find the information and decide independently. Organic food benefits us leave the planet better than it left it, and not feeding us chemicals that are quite possibly bad for our health. You are your food intake, as they say, so what chemicals are your meals turning you into?
